Furniture, decorative painting, and fine art.Anna is an English furniture painter and decorative artist based in Sutton Coldfield, England.Working from her home studio, she restores and hand-paints vintage furniture with a particular love of bold patterns, earthy tones, and folky-floral designs.Committed to sustainability, Anna chooses vintage or pre-loved pieces for their exceptional quality and reduced environmental impact. Each piece of furniture is meticulously cleaned, restored, and hand-painted, making it truly one-a-kind.In addition to furniture, Anna also works in sketchbooks and on canvas, and has a lifelong passion for fine art. While she studied Art at A-Levels, she is primarily self-taught. Vintage floral hand painted tallboy

This beautiful pine tallboy, has been carefully restored, before being hand painted in an original folky floral design.The base has been painted in 'duck egg' blue with all details painted free hand in a selection of complimentary blues, creams, yellows and 'old violet'. The whole piece was then waxed for protection and to give a beautiful, mellow, finish. There are four wooden draws with dovetail joints and painted metal handles. Frequently Asked Questions
How are items delivered?I have a selection of reliable couriers that I work with, and as soon as an order is placed, I contact them for a quote and availability. As the cost of this can vary greatly, I charge a flat rate for delivery and absorb any extra cost that the private courier may charge. I aim to have your item delivered within 1-2 weeks however will keep you updated on the delivery process. On occasion we may be able to personally deliver your new furniture.You are also welcome to collect from Sutton Coldfield or one of the areas listed in the items description.How to care for your furnitureAll the furniture listed is painted with 'Annie Sloan' chalk paints, that have been chosen for their beautiful colours, and high quality. As a sealant, I generally use furniture wax as this highlights brushstrokes and provides a beautiful, mellow finish. Furniture wax is water resistant and ages well, however it is recommended that you use a coaster, and avoid chemical cleaners- a damp cloth is all the cleaning it needs.How much do you charge for commissions?The price for commissions vary greatly based on the piece and design, however please feel free to contact me for a personalised quote - it may be cheaper than you think!
